Las Vegas Wedding Photographer | MGM and The Grove
Clare and Matt decided on a Las Vegas wedding across the pond from their hometown of Manchester, England. They contacted me several months before their wedding. Unfortunately they were victims of a photography scam. Once they put down the deposit the “photographer” stopped responding. They reached out to me in an understandable panic. They were devastated about the circumstances but we made sure we were able to accommodate them in every way possible and ease any wedding stress they may have had.
We started off at the MGM Grand on Las Vegas Blvd where we got photos of them getting ready. We all then headed to The Grove in north Las Vegas. As everyone was sitting down for the ceremony and dark cloud came over and we had to wait a few for the rain to pass. I assured the bride that it was luck for rain and she was in Vegas so this was a good sign! After 20 minutes the sky opened up the clouds broke and the sun came out.
After the “I-do’s” we headed out near Red Rock Canyon area. As usual with springtime in Las Vegas we had 40+mph winds. I of course was freezing but the couple said it was nice compared to England! We were able to grab some shots but then wind was being uncooperative and pushing the poor bride around so we headed back to The Grove to get some on location shots.
The evening ended with the cutting of the cake, the wedding shoe game, champagne and lots of dancing. The bride later told us that they were terrified they were going to show up and none of the vendors would actually exist but she was so incredibly grateful for us and all the ways we went out of our way for them and she was glad that the first people didn’t work out because otherwise she never would have met us. Talk about a compliment! We wish these two the happiest future!
