Phoenix | Scottsdale Arizona Engagement Photographer

We are always willing to take couples photos anywhere they ask, but, given the choice we will always choose the desert with those massive beautiful mountains in the background. Plus, have you ever seen a sunset in the Southwest? If you haven’t you are seriously missing out! Especially in Phoenix, Arizona. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a bland sunset there, which is great news for us since that’s where we do most of our engagement and weddings photos!

This couple, like most couples, showed up a bit late for their photos. (So you can thank all the previous clients that we now tell everyone to be 20 minutes earlier on top of the original 15 🙂 There is no cell service out in these parts and we were getting a bit worried that maybe they went to the wrong place but with 25 minutes until sunset they jumped out of their car and we ran into the desert, that was a measly 50′ away and started snapping. Thankfully you don’t have to go far in this city to get such an incredible backdrop. The Superstition Mountains and of course that dependable sunset made for some amazing photos. The only photo the soon to be bride requested was him holding her up but she felt bad because he had just had knee surgery. He was persistent that she get the shot she wanted, so they gave it a go and they nailed it. His knee was fine and she was ecstatic about the photo. It’s so awesome to see what one person will do for another out of unconditional love. I bet these two will have a long happy marriage, speaking of, check out their weddings photos in Phoenix! Phoenix Wedding at The Buttes
