Rocky Mountain National Park engagement session at Bear Lake

Engagement Session in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, Colorado

I was so excited when these two reached out wanting to do a session with the Rocky Mountains as their backdrop. There are countless photo opportunities in the park, of course I have my few favorite. Some locations require pulling into the next pull off and some require 1500′ of elevation gain. I was especially excited when they mentioned they wanted to bring their pups!

I think my favorite photo was when Eric wanted to recreate the Lion King and hold the small doggo in the air on a rock. The lighting was completely epic! Once we finished in the meadow we headed up to Bear Lake and got some killer lake shots. If you plan on doing photos here just remember there is a permit that needs to be obtained as well as a timed entry permit that sells out weeks in advance!
