Romantic Hill Country Wedding

Hill Country Austin Texas Photographer

Canyon Wood Ridge | Dripping Springs, Texas

It was an overcast fall day in Dripping Springs, Texas near Austin at Canyonwood Ridge. Nicole and her bridesmaids and bridesman enjoyed mimosas and wore matching robes. The groomsmen and groomswomen enjoyed some whiskey, cheese and laughs. The rain had been holding off all day. The couple had geometric details throughout, from the wedding arch to the table centerpieces. The ceremony room had tall windows to let a ton of bright light in and greenery made for a beautiful light and airy wedding and backdrop.

Nicole opted for a first look with her father and her fiancĂ© and they were both emotional and memorable. After the ceremony we took all of the family and bridal party photos. It wasn’t until the 15 minutes we had to grab some wedding portraits that the clouds opened up and the sun broke through for some perfect golden hour photos.

After the wedding portraits we headed inside the reception for the dinner. Their 9 piece band rocked the place all night with fun live music. The couple were very Texan with their BlueBell Ice Cream sundae bar served in place of a traditional cake. At the end of the night they had whataburger delivered for everyone for a late night snack. Lastly, the couple headed off through their sparkler tunnel of family and friends and into their ride to enjoy the rest of the evening by themselves.
