Dream Lake Engagement | Rocky Mountain National Park

As I was leaving east Denver to head 2 hours into the mountains the skies turned dark and I started getting alerts for tornadoes touching down in south Denver. The couple contacted me asking if they should reschedule since we were both coming from so far away. I said as long as things were looking safe let’s go for it and if we have to we can always try for another day although they were visiting from out of town.

Once we arrived at Rocky Mountain National Park the sky started to clear and the sun came out for a few minutes. We took a couple photos in the meadows just before the clouds started filling in the sky more, again. They decided they wanted photos at Dream Lake regardless of the weather and what the sky looked like. I’m so SO glad the skies cleared and we got some incredible photos!
