We were so excited when Kat + Wes told us they decided on North Star Gatherings for their fall wedding. It was a cloudy October day. The men were getting ready in the dome at the bottom of the hill and the women were in the bridal suite in the loft of the venue. Once the bride and groom were both ready we went outside for their first look. We let them have some privacy to read their vows to one another.

Ceremony time rolled around and the weather was typical mountain weather, unsure of what it wanted. It rained a little, the seats, were wiped off and the sun broke through the clouds. We did some portraits under the overcast skies. I love the moody vibes it was giving off. Onto the reception where you can see Kat incorporated her whimsical dinosaurs. From there it was eating, speeches and lots of dancing.
